Laura Keliikoa is a Los Angeles County native who has been shaped by a rich blend of experiences. From an early age, she honed her skills in classical piano, fostering discipline and dedication. These formative years, combined with the influence of her hardworking parents, instilled a strong work ethic that has been a driving force throughout her career.
Laura's educational journey started in Los Angles and eventually led her to San Diego State University, where she studied finance and business. Simultaneously, she held a pivotal role as a Regional County Bookkeeper for a major grocery corporation, demonstrating her ability to balance academics and a demanding career.
Her path eventually led her to the world of Commercial Real Estate. Laura obtained her real estate license and served as an assistant to a Commercial Property Manager. In this role, she was entrusted with leasing, asset management, and administration responsibilities for 11 local commercial properties in San Diego, igniting her passion for real estate.
Soon after, Laura earned the role of Lead Property Manager for a prestigious Class A Office Building, overseeing government leasing and working directly with the General Services Administration and private sector government entities.
As her family expanded, Laura sought a more family-friendly career path that allowed her to channel her love for real estate. This transition led her to residential real estate, where she started as an admin and steadily advanced through various departments to become a full-time real estate agent. Her expertise grew during the era of short sales and foreclosures, where she also specialized as a short sale negotiator.
Laura discovered her niche behind the scenes, excelling as a Transaction Coordinator and eventually as a Transaction Manager, a role she has embraced for the past 13 years. In her current capacity, she offers invaluable leadership support in risk management for agents company-wide. Her responsibilities encompass reviewing and analyzing all real estate transaction documents, serving as a liaison between all parties involved, and ensuring successful closed sale transactions by adhering to strict contractual guidelines. Her adept communication skills, honed over years of practicing piano, have been instrumental in shaping her into the accomplished professional she is today.
